I will be running this class in Manchester at Healthy Spirit Cafe in Didsbury

This day is an introduction to raw class with a focus on Asian flavours. I will demo recipes, you will taste everything, receive a recipe handout and the plan is that you leave feeling nourished and inspired at how quick, easy and tasty these dishes are. 

Recipes covered

  • Tonic Teas

  • Matcha bonbons

  • Coconut sushi with cauliflower horseradish rice & mango coriander salsa

  • Pad thai & coconut noodle soup with kelp & courgetti

  • Red curry with dulse

  • Marinated kale salad with kimchi

  • Keylime & Baobab Pie

(exact recipes subject to change and more may be included on the day)

This class will focus on Asian flavours.  I will introduce a few superfoods but the main focus of this class is ease and accessibility.  I will also touch on how to mix raw and cooked ingredients. 

I like to keep sugar content low so all recipes can be made to suit diabetic or sugar-free diets and there will be a range of sweeteners available.

All ingredients will be organic and plant based

All recipes provided - with room for you to write notes.

You will be given a recipe handout and taste everything we make. Drinks and savoury nibbles are also included.

Join me for a sweet class filled with cakes & desserts.  We cover some of my favourite recipes and I share valuable tips and techniques along with nutrition information throughout the class.

Leave with a deeper understanding of how different healthy sweeteners impact our sugar levels, how to use tiger nuts, how to make desserts with seaweed, how to add medicinal mushrooms to cakes and which superfoods work well in desserts.

There are so many super sweet raw cake recipes out there so if you already make raw cakes and want to try a few recipes that don't rely on dates and maple syrup, these desserts are designed to have a lower impact on blood sugar levels. I also offer suggestions for nut-free options and other ingredient substitutions (for anyone sensitive to nuts or sesame, please note that my kitchen contains these ingredients).

Ingredients used in this class are all organic and suitable if you are following a plant-based, gluten-free or low-sugar diet.
